Mayday wins Rising CFO Tech of the Year at the GENCFO Digital Finance Function Awards!

Last night, the Mayday team attended the GENCFO Digital Finance Function Awards 2023 as a Rising CFO Tech of the Year nominee. Today, we are absolutely thrilled to announce that Mayday has won the award! With a membership exceeding 100,000, GENCFO stands as the largest community of its kind worldwide. They provide thought-provoking content and community buzz to accelerate current and future accounting and finance leaders' professional success.

The Digital Finance Function Awards recognise cutting-edge talent using digital technology to create huge impacts for the finance industry. The Rising CFO Tech of the Year award celebrates a vendor-created technology that will be a future game-changer for finance professionals. 

It is an honour to be recognised for our innovation and passion for building products which create lasting impacts for multi-entity group finance teams. We are incredibly proud of this achievement and beyond grateful for the continued support of our brilliant users.

Mayday launched on 20 April 2022 with our mission to mend month end for finance teams, focusing on the pain points of having multiple entities as a business:

• Recharger automates intercompany charges of costs and revenues between related entities.
• BRAG (bank reconciliation across the group) enables the one-click matching of bank transactions in one group entity to the underlying bill or invoice in another.
• Balancer ensures your intercompany loan accounts will never again fall out of balance.

It’s been an incredible journey so far. In April, we were awarded Xero Emerging App Partner of the Year. Now, the Rising CFO Tech Award two months later. We’re so proud of the recognition we’re receiving for creating products that revolutionise month end for finance teams. And we’re just getting started!
