FAQs

What counts as a recharge rule?

When you create a rule using a set of conditions to pull certain transactions from Xero or Google Sheets and apportion them in a pre-defined way, that counts as 1 Recharge rule.

What counts as a BRAG transaction?

When you mark one bank feed item as paid through BRAG on Xero’s Bank Rec screen, that counts as 1 BRAG transaction.

Each transaction (on the left hand side of the screen) you match using BRAG can be matched to as many bills or invoices as you need (or you can create bills or invoices if none exist), and it will still count as 1 BRAG transaction

Do I need to give you card details for a free trial?

No! You can sign up to try all of Mayday’s features without adding any payment card details.

How do I determine group size?

The size of your group on Mayday is the number of separate Xero organisations that you will want to connect.

What happens if I need to add or remove an entity in future?

You can change your group size at any time in the app, which will update your plan price automatically. We have lots of growing groups who add entities on a regular basis!

What if I have entities that are not on Xero?

At the moment, Mayday only integrates with Xero, but we’ll be adding more accounting platforms very soon.

Please do let us know which platform you use here to inform our product development and so we can let you know when we go live with that platform.

In the meantime many customers find that they get value from setting their Xero entities up with Mayday. We've also found some great workarounds where you have non-Xero entities alongside Xero entities. Get in touch to discuss how this might work for your group.

How do the add-on bundles work for the Passive Plan?

Bundles allow you to bolt-on a limited number of Recharge rules or BRAG transactions. This can be helpful if you feel you don't have a large volume of these transactions, or want to try them out before committing to the Active or Advanced plans.

Feel free to play around with bundles above to see how the prices change for your group.

Generally, rather than adding 4 or more bundles to the Passive plan, it is more cost-effective to upgrade to the Active plan.
